Sweet little Cindy made it to our rescue & was an instant hit with her foster family. She became a friend & playmate to the children in the home. Playing games & dress up, watching tv, & napping. 

We got devastating news at her vet intake, Cindy is positive for heartworms. :(   It is always such a blow to our hearts when something like this happens. It is easily preventable, yet here is sweet little Cindy, facing months of activity restriction, being crated, & enduring painful vertebrae injections to kill the heartworms. 

Heartworm treatments are not only painful & hard on dogs like Cindy, but the procedure is also very expensive. If you would like to donate to Cindy's treatment, you can find our Venmo & PayPal links here on our website.
