Buddy was a G4P Alumni when he came into foster a few weeks ago. Buddy was brought into rescue by us when he was younger. He was adopted by a fantastic family, a lovely lady that showered him with affection & attention. She has since become physically unable to care for him & her family reached out to let us know. We are heartbroken for Buddy & for his lady. We will always be there for dogs in our program, that is our forever promise.

Buddy has been living comfortably in a home. He is a gentleman who enjoys leisure couch napping & slow strolls in his backyard. Buddy is particularly comfortable with women, as that is who he spent all his time with. He hasn't been in an active household with lots of noise & children, and while we are not opposed to a family environment, please just be aware he hasn't had that exposure.

Harness & leash walking are easy for Buddy; he is comfortable with this. We will not require a fenced yard, but we do want to emphasize that if you have a fence, we want to make sure it is secure!  If you have a large x-pen, that would be a convenient tool to let Buddy safely explore his new yard. Never ever should he be left outside alone.

Buddy is reliably potty trained and has had no accidents at his foster home. Remember, in a new home, a new environment means that new habits will have to be established. Please make sure you set Buddy up for success & take time to establish a potty schedule.

We are so grateful for our relationship with previous adopters where we can be a partner that helps when life is "life". Buddy was loved by his family & we promise to make sure his new family will care for him & love him as well.
